A line of cards for terrible things

Where are the cards for real life?

Walk into a card store and you’ll often find aisles of cards appropriate for life’s celebrations and few for life’s tragedies. But there are just as many terrible things that happen to people as there are moments to celebrate.

Of the cards available for hard times, most are sympathy cards which say something like “My deepest sympathies” or “I’m sorry for your loss.” These aren’t bad things to say, but they are impersonal. They aren’t the kind of cards you’d give your mom or your best friend. Where are the cards for people who live in the real world?

We need empathy cards because real life is personal, and sometimes rocky.

Details

Quality Paper: All cards are printed in black ink on white 32-point Mohawk Superfine paper. Luxurious texture is combined with a subtle pinstripe on its edge. Each notecard is two-sided (no inside), measures 4.13 x 5.83 and comes with an envelope also made from Mohawk Superfine paper.

Real Connection: It’s hard to know what to say to someone who’s going through a difficult time, so people often say the wrong thing or don’t say anything at all. These cards focus on connection and empathy, inspired by real life.

Accessible Design: Greeting cards, especially blank ones, can be intimadating. This is the reason these are flat notecards. The message on the front delivers the point of the note: I'm thinking of you during this hard time. And with a small spot to write on the back, there's no pressure (or room) to get long-winded.

Standard Postage: Though notecards are thick, they can be sent through the mail with a standard postage stamp.
